Commerce Architects helped backcountry.com leverage Oracle Commerce 10 to deliver a multi-site commerce platform. The backcountry.com team was new to Oracle Commerce and our team provided guidance, training, and experience to build and customize the platform. Commerce Architects partnered with backcountry.com’s development team to plan and implement a multi-site platform to host both backcountry.com and competitivecyclist.com.
Commerce Architects designed integrations with backcountry.com’s Product Information Management (PIM) system to keep the product catalog up-to-date while allowing taxonomy management through the Oracle Commerce Business Control Center. Our team helped implement an integration with FAST Search, providing a faceted search and browsing experience which was later migrated to Solr. Fault-tolerant integrations with payment providers and backcountry.com’s fulfillment system provide a low latency checkout experience for customers and high volume order processing.
