Commerce Architects helped backcountry.com leverage Oracle ATG Web Commerce 10 to deliver an improved multi-site commerce platform. The Backcountry.com team was new to ATG and needed help understanding how to move their suite of sites to ATG 10. Commerce Architects partnered with Backcountry.com’s development team to plan and implement a multi-site platform to power all of Backcountry.com’s web properties. ATG Commerce and Publishing were integrated with their existing product data and fulfillment services to allow for a rapid implementation. Integration with FAST Search provided a faceted search and browsing experience, later replaced by SOLR. Currently, both backcountry.com and competitivecyclist.com are running on the same ATG 10 multi-site codebase.
